Camp Meridian is run on the grounds of Camp Merrowvista, a beautifully maintained year-round youth camp set on 600 acres in the Ossipee Mountains in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. The facility was built to challenge youth to think critically, communicate, solve problems, take on leadership, set and attain goals, and appreciate the natural world and their place in it. Camp Merrowvista is one of only a handful of programs in the country to be fully accredited by both the American Camping Association and the Association for Experiential Education.
Camp Meridian will have full use of their outstanding facilities, including:
- an outdoor challenge and low-ropes course
- a state-of-the-art indoor activity center, including a huge fireplace with a unique flagstone mantle and chimney that is a fully functional indoor climbing wall
- beautiful new heated cabins and dining hall, overlooking the lake
- ample playing fields, hiking trails, and waterfront acreage
- a Council Circle nestled in the woods for gathering on benches around the fire
- unique sensory night hikes and nature awareness trails
- craft centers
- outdoor amphitheater for productions and ceremonies
